Advanced Concrete Pumping was contracted by Dominion Construction to pump the concrete for The Pacifica, a residential tower in Auckland's CBD. At 57 storeys and 178 metres high, The Pacifica is one of New Zealand's tallest residential towers.
Specialised high-rise equipment was purchased for this project to reach the required heights, including a 28 metre placing boom and a 200 bar delivery pressure stationary pump. From 2018 to 2020, Advanced Concrete Pumping pumped around 17,000 cubic metres of concrete into the structure.
This project highlighted Advanced Concrete Pumpings ability to deliver consistent high-rise pumping at scale on one of the country's most complex residential builds.
